The Bruce Peninsula Bird Observatory and Bruce Peninsula Environment Group will be hosting the 2nd annual Environmental Film Festival. The Festival will offer classic movies and documentaries with the theme THE COST OF GREED. Each film will be introduced by Dr. Stephen Scharper, Associate Professor of Environmental Ethics at the University of Toronto, with eight years experience teaching film studies. Each showing will be followed by a discussion (optional) mentored by Dr. Scharper.

The IJC is holding public meetings in locations around Georgian Bay. This is an important
part of the Upper Great Lakes Study so it's ever so important that many affected citizens attend the meetings and LET YOUR VIEWS BE KNOWN. The meetings closest to us are:

Thursday, August 14th - 2pm to 4pm at the Owen Sound Armory
Thursday, August 14th - 7pm to 9pm at the Collingwood Armory.
