All welcome. The Summer Summit is where Green Party members (GPO and GPC) supporters, guests and friends come to talk green political theory and policy in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. The Summit is a structured but casual forum for idea sharing, green theorizing, and brainstorming. It is a low cost, non-decision making event. Everyone is welcome.
Cost: $20 - includes two nights camping on site, two suppers, campfire, forest trails, meadows. Host: Peter and Patti Ellis: 705-458-4852.

Friday, Sept 12th 7pm - Kincardine
James Loney will be the keynote speaker at the Kincardine's Fourth Annual World Peace Day Celebration at the Royal Canadian Legion - 219 Lambton Street, Kincardine.
Loney, as a member of the Christian Peacemaker Teams, was captured and held for almost four months by Iraqi insurgents. His experience has allowed him to understand why military force has limited and often negative effects, compared with mediation and non-violent negotiations.

SOUTHGATE WINDY FIELDS ENERGY COOPERATIVE is pleased to sponsor a Renewable Energy Tour to be held on Saturday, 20th September. The Tour will start with registration at 9 am at Swinton Park Community Hall in Southgate Township and will consist of visits to four locations in our area where people have met their energy needs from wind or sun.
